Plan the volume.
Define the supply requirement.
Discuss bulk and recurring materials procurement with the technical specification, order quantities and delivery expectations clearly stated.

Build the enquiry around your purchasing plan.
Initial bulk orders
State the material, grade, form, total quantity, packaging and destination. Include any qualification or inspection conditions.
Request a quotation →Recurring requirements
Share the expected order frequency and volume profile. Supply arrangements and schedules are confirmed for the individual requirement.
Supply & sourcing →Trial & qualification orders
Identify evaluation quantities, acceptance criteria and required documents. Trial quantities and payment arrangements are confirmed in the offer.
Quality & documentation →Metals, oxides and specialist inputs.

Make each offer comparable.
Volume enquiries are most useful when the technical and commercial requirements are considered together. A total tonnage or kilogram quantity alone may not define the actual supply needed.
Provide a clear specification and indicate which requirements are mandatory. Where alternatives are acceptable, identify the characteristics that can vary without affecting your process.
For repeat orders, communicate the expected schedule, lot sizes, packing configuration and continuity requirements. The ability to support that plan is assessed during the enquiry, not assumed from a catalogue listing.

Confirmed in the quotation and proforma invoice.
Prices, availability, minimum order quantities and the CIF delivery scope are confirmed for the proposed supply. Our Payment Policy sets out the standard sample, trial and bulk procedure; any different terms must be expressly agreed in writing.
The agreed delivery term should name the relevant destination or place. Freight, insurance, taxes and clearance responsibilities depend on that term and the written offer.
Origin and documentation are material-specific. If a non-origin restriction, audit, independent inspection or particular certificate is required, raise it before the order is agreed.
Do not send payment based on an unverified change of bank details. Use the company’s established contact channels to confirm invoice and beneficiary information.
